A Must Read Whether You Cycle Or Not
In early April an unfortunate cycling accident occurred where a man on a racing bike hit a female pedestrian on a city footpath, fracturing her rib. Following from this, police are warning cyclists to consider taking out insurance to protect themselves against claims from crash victims.
Police are encouraging cyclists to “consider private insurance, which cannot only cover the cost to repair your own bike in the event of a crash, but also cover third party property and/or body claims that may arise”.
